Erica is the incoming Member Committee Vice President for AIESEC Canada's 2015-2016 team! She is also currently the chair of the Entity Control Board for AIESEC Canada. 

Right now, Erica is almost finished working on her MA in International and Intercultural Communications - with her thesis being done in May. It's about how young Canadians entering the workforce adapt to work environments abroad! 

Erica wanted to join this project because of her belief in having first hand knowledge of the projects AIESEC offers and the culture we have the opportunity to experience will really enable us to understand and promote the projects better. Furthermore, she believes that being there in person will help us strengthen the partnerships AIESEC Canada has around the world and allow us to create better AIESEC experiences. 

Erica hopes to meet a LOT of AIESECers! One of the things that makes AIESEC so effective is the personal connections you build up and learn from. She also wants to have as many unique experiences as possible so that she can showcase Colombia to the Canadian members and show them all of the opportunities there are! Finally, Erica hopes to understand what the Colombian mindset is and how AIESEC can help out there and where our contribution is; building this understanding will help us find exchange candidates who can truly have a positive impact on the communities there as well as grow themselves in a positive way!
